Cleaner for exhaust?

The inside bottom parts of the exhausts are slightly brownish, I'm guessing from where I've washed it and the water has then discoloured the inside. Is there any cleaner that can remove this so they're all shiny again?
 
I tried Autosol based on the good reviews and got a bad result, not sure if it was because there was something left on the exhaust that reacted with it but I can't now get mine perfect, see my post on this

Obviously works for a lot of others with no problems at all
 
I use Autosol on my Z4 exhaust and it comes up mega shiny, nothing like swami's (no idea what's happened there - just looked at your thread - but could be that you didn't remove all of the product).

Autosol rescued my exhaust tips from years of neglect by the previous owners. Worked even better on my soot-covered exhaust on my previous diesel car too!
