Cigarette Lighter not working

As the title says really. The cigarette lighter in my Zed doesnt seem to want to work. i've tried changing the fuse, still nothing. So may a dodgy wire. How do I access the underside of the lighter to check wires etc? Is it just that one screw under the ashtray? May seem a silly question, but I don't want to be forcing anything off and breaking something

are you convinced its the socket, have you tried 2 different devices in it?

I'm pretty sure its the socket as I've tried various chargers that I know work in other cars.

Fixed.

Turns out someone had unplugged it. There may have been a reason it was unplugged, but it works fine with no fuses being blown. Glad it was a simple fix!
