Cigar lighter USB adapter

I lost my cigar lighter USB adapter while on holiday. I got it from a link someone posted a while back on here but I cant find it. I was one that fitted pretty much flush and allowed the lid to close over it. It also had a green LED. Does anyone have a link for it, I know a few other people also bought the same things at the same time?

Anyone know if these things drain power when not in use (ie. plugged into the lighter socket, with no USB device attached)?

They will a little as the LED stays on. how much of an effect? - probably negligible. you have an LED that blinks for the alarm, plus there are other bits that constantly drain the battery too.

These things are so small that you can kind of leave them in. just pull them up slightly to break one of the contact so it doesnt stay live, LED goes off, yet you can still close the ash tray.

Looked for the same thread yesterday, just ordered my second one of these as i managed to break the tap inside the conector

Mine's been in since i posted the original threa; my battery is fine :thumbsup:

the one in the link above is the same as mine, the little handle is a must otherwise you'd never get it out when needed to swap to other cars

Doesn't look small enough to fit with the lid closed.

Fits in the armrest next to the aux cable for mine though, didnt think on getting the USB at the time

Dealer said usb is a nightmare as a retrofit as well
 
Armrest!? Why ant I got one of them! lol I have to rest my arm on the centre console with the seat at its lowest!

Centre consul armrest whatever :oops: with wee storage bit underneath built in with aux connection in it(or usb if specced) :thumbsup:
I have seat right down low but flipped back with thigh rest out :D
