Chuffed new owner of 3.0si roadster

G'day!

Had my 1 year old flat 6 now for 2 weeks, and keep finding excuses to pop out for a wee spin. I'm continually impressed with the drive/performance and handling. It sounds awesome and looks the DB's.
I'm glad I found this site and am sure I'll find it useful in the years of ownership to come..
Off to Scotland tomorrow for a driving holiday come whisky distillery tour.

Lookin foward to adding more posts to the site....

Do you mean stright six though instead of flat six?

Welcome.

Good looking car, same wheels as mine. Think they look great on the zed, and don't see too many of them around.
This board is a bit of a 108 love-in, but I prefer having a different look to others.

Went by the dealer yesterday to pick up hubby's tags for the X5 and saw 2 Z4 Roadsters left on the lot. A very sharp black one and a white one. Brought a tear to my eye knowing they were the last of a breed. <sniff> :cry:
 
Cheers for all the replies. Just got back from Skye.. will put up some pics when I get the chance. And yeah, straight six!! Picked up my hard top for the winter before setting up off north. It's incredibly well made and doesn't look at all like a plastic mould.
The pic I posted was taken by Tynemouth beach near Newcastle on Tyne. I go running there from time to time.
 
Very nice, i did have a chuckle at the 'Flat 6' comment :poke: How did you get on with the car 'op north'? :driving:

Is BMW doing away with the Roadster? Or is there a redisign coming?
