Hello all,

My father owns a BMW Z4 E89 production year 2013. I was driving the car when suddenly the windshield wipers came on. I got a notification that my tire pressure wasn't good. Powersteering not working anymore. And DSC isn't working
. I have looked for wheelsensor problems, but the four sensor all tent to give the correct data. Also we calibrated the sas sensor multiple times. With no good result.

Then I came across the longitudinal accelaration sensor or yaw speed sensor. This sensor gave a reading of -932 m/'s. After some looking around on the web we thought the sensor was underneath the driver side carpet. After removing the seat and carpet we couldn't find the sensor. The sensor we think is in the car has the following number: 0265 005 713. Does anyone know if my assumptions are in the good directions and can tell me where this sensor is located?

Greatings,

Han

The E89 longitudinal sensor is integrated on the DSC motherboard ..so that’s why you can’t find it..

Looks like your DSC unit has failed…

BMW fault code reader would confirm diagnosis
