I don't know why he's claiming the ride comfort on this lowered version is better than the genuine article as the genuine article has adaptive suspension and rear ride height adjustment based on the load being carried.

If he found the genuine M5T too 'hard' then I'd suggest something was broken/disabled.

I bet it's got the small brakes too...and being the 3.6 it will be down about 30hp/lbft - although it will rev a little faster - which will make no difference with the extra weight of the touring.

If I could afford the purchase price, or maintenance costs, I have bought a proper LHD 3.8 Touring or an RHD Alpina B10 4.6 Touring.
