Chl 138 restoring classic 911

saw it - a must see if you like classic Porsches - that restoration must have cost an absolute fortune . Surprised and shocked how much rust there was for a mid eighties car that was also covered up over the last few years - whilst it looked immaculate at the finish I would worry how much hidden rust still remained in there :( :(

did notice in one scene when when the bloke restoring the car had a look at a row of classic Porsches drooling over all the 911's and just ignored a Boxster

Wide bodied 911 but not a real turbo. Still the best looking body Porsche have ever done imo (even without the turbo lump in the back).

One day... :driving:

Is there a 'site' where we can see these episodes - dont mention the sky box.

It was on More4 Freeview - if you've got catch up tv you might find it on the last 7 days - I say might because before I bought my Youview box I assumed that you would get 7 day catch up on all freeview channels - not the case though :( :(

Well don't then.....

.........but you're wrong! :P

It's the 80s 911 turbo with the impact bellows bumpers that I like not the later 993 facelift. My CD collection ends with albums released in 1989 and my footwear collection consists entirely of Dealer Boots, Kickers and Adidas Samba trainers. Right I'm off to make a Breville toastie and a Soda Stream cola to keep me going while I watch the entire first series of Auf Wiedersehen Pet.
