At the supermarket this morning and spotted this... just another regular old BMW, right?

But wait - what's this? A BMW Ute. Actually someone's put a lot of effort into this by the look of it. Not just a quick chop job. Only one I've ever seen. Whether you like it or not, kudos to whoever put the time in to create their vision :)

Yes, that is surprisingly different. Reminds me of the shock when I first saw the Jaguar xjs lynx eventer. <shudder>

It happens in the UK too - this is a 530d that was converted

And looking at this are starting to make some money .....https://www.silverstoneauctions.com/1982-lynx-eventer-v12

I remember seeing that BMW M division did an E92 M3 one off. I think it was on top gear or at least the magazine.

Made it "slightly" tail happy with the lack of weight over the rear end!

Nice spot! ///M division made this e30 ute with m3 running gear as a project and used it to run parts round!

They did the same with an e90 also pictured but don't think it was used in the same way.

Now that would make a good beach car and easier to clean than the Zed.

How do they do the tail gates? Is it just the chopped boot from the saloon? :?
