So I needed a new windscreen cover trim. (The black piece around the bottom), as I broke some of the clips when I replaced my AUC sensor. It was winter so everything was brittle.

Some people were asking £74 for a used item and half the clips were broken. LLParts wanted £74 plus VAT.

BMW Crewe £72 all in and came with all new clips. Outer 2 and 8 x underside.

😎👍

I had it last year, the arm for my headlight level sensor on my E89 was broken, £29+ used on eBay - £12 new from my local BMW dealer

Good to know. But I needed it for the weekend and was on route home. Cheers👍

It's was still gubbed. I got a new one today.

I had local BMW crash repair centre paint a side skirt sill to match car, £100 which i thought was reasonable.
It was off the car, 2nd hand replacement.
Also a lci or sport rear bumper off the car, that wasn't much.
Worth asking before going to back street paint shop.

That shouldn't of happened, I'll pay for your breakfast if you coming to one of the breakfast meets :)

The part’s a bit crap, I’m surprised they don’t break more regularly… PITA to fit too.

The worst part was getting it to clip together around the suspension arm. Does look a bit fragile, right enough.

You can see that the small locking tab is missing from the old one. I'll periodically check it to make sure it's still holding. Cable ties will be the next fix if it pops off again
