Just got a great insurance quote through money supermarket.com with esure. I'm 27 and soon to be an owner of a 2006 3.0si roadster. Car will be kept on a driveway and used as a second car. I've got 9 years NCB and with my gf on the policy as a second named driver, she has 8 years NCB, the quote was £261.90!!! :D Happy days!

:o :o What excess you got?
I'm 55 and renewed in April, never made a claim, full NCB and I couldn't find anything under £300+. Mine does only have £100 excess.
I was previously with esure and they wanted stupid money this renewal.

I think home postcode has a significant impact on insurance as well as age and ncd

See this postcode map;

It does indeed. The whole of Edinburgh is in the second most expensive group which is a PITA.

Still, my premium comes in at £940, and that's with a hefty claim from 3 years back. I've got 5 years NCB now and am insured for 6k miles per year

Wow, that is expensive Adam...I have just renewed mine, and with me, my wife and my father on it(fro emergencies) and a 6k vandalism claim on it from nov.12, my M Roadster is just £254, with courtesy car, legal cover and Prot ncb :D

With Tesco Insurance/previously Admiral have been around £300 but wanted over £400 this year!!

My quote for the Coupe is £451 - 12,000 miles, 11 year NCB, no claims or points.

Thinking i could do a bit better than that.

Mine is £354.00 with elephant.co.uk (part of Admiral). 2.5Si with 9 years protected NCB and one additional driver.

I believe the 2.5 is more expensive than the 3.0...or am I making that up?

Mine was £210 this year with Esure for Z4M coupe.

Me and the missus... 9yrs no claims with no accidents or points.... Protected no claims bonus and £250 excess.

@Chris Nott.... Do you insure vehicles in Sk13 yet ?

We do insure vehicles in many more postcode areas these days including SK13 but there may be overnight parking requirements depending on the next digit of the postcode.
