Cheap trackers... Anyone tried them?

Was just doing a bit of research into tracking systems, actually for work not for my car as would mean we could track our delivery guys when out on deliveries so wouldn't need to keep ringing them to ask where they are... but when I saw how cheap the systems are was actually tempted to stick one on my car too so was wondering if anyone had any experience with them..

This was the one I was looking at

Less than £40 delivered, takes a Pay as you go sim and the guy I spoke to reckons you need to top up £5 every three months or so. Also have to pay a subscription to the we tracking software but first 12 months is free then £10 a year.. So first year will cost £60 (including buying the tracker) then £30 per year after that to keep it online....

Sounds really cheap, trying to decide if I actually want/need one on my Z so wondered if anyone else had one fitted

We installed trackers in our 30 odd vans at work. We had options to out source the lot or do it in house and be able to intergrate with our other systems.

Depending how far you have got take a look at http://gpsgate.com/ Its what we have used.

I use it with my phone which works well also or you can use trackers like this which we have http://www.teltonika.lt/en/pages/view/?id=17

The mobile contract we have costs about £6 per year per sim as they are used for tracker only.
