Cheap Sounding Doors/Trunk

I love my 2005 Z4 3.0i but when I closed my doors or trunk lid it sounded poorly manufactured. I removed my door trim panels and installed Noico 80 mil soundproofing material to the inside of the doors as well as the plastic on the back of the door trim panels. Additionally, I placed it in the single layered areas of my trunk lid. I love the sound when it closes now as well as the reduced level of road noise. The product does add a little weight to the door but to me it’s worth it.

I purchased the Noico 80 mil 5 sqft Car Sound proofing material from https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07QY1X35P?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

1 package did both doors and the trunk lid.
