Almost any plate that hides the true age of the car has got to be worth £150, on a 10 year old motor.

No mate , in the past they have had a pretty bad reputation tbh :oops: cheap tho :D
You'l find with any plate selling companies will offer you a figure but not pay you anything until someone buys it from their webpage :wink:

My advice would be a classified advert for £15 on ebay & you should manage what you were wanting if not a little more :thumbsup:
 
Would this result in the buyer illegally spacing the number plate?

That has always wound me up.
 
I read somewhere recently that the rules about spacing were going to be relaxed. However I cannot see any obvious references to this on the interweb.

Decided to buy this, so thanks for the heads up Mr W. It's cheap enough and worth it to get shot of the age related plate - and it'll look great with the right spacing. :rofl: My present reg letters are FBC so at least it might stop the missus calling my Z the "Fat Boys Car" .... amongst other things

I'll post up how the purchase goes when it's done but it's looking good so far as I've already received all the forms to fill in. Not sure how long it'll take but putting the original number back on after buying the car took 2 weeks, I'm expecting about month or so for this.
