Cheap Golf R deals are back

These deals have just been released today on the Golf R estate which comes as DSG only.

Being offered by lots of lease companies and also available from VW dealers as they are through VWFS. I believe the figures can also be skewed to £280 deposit then 23x £280pm and some dealers have reasonable 3 year deals as well.

Thought it worth posting as a few people here PM'd me about the Golf R I had delivered on lease last year. It's one of only 3 cars that I've owned that I would happily own again. I will look to get another one when this one is due for return early next year. I normally can't wait to get out of my current car.

Would make a nice workhorse Pete :wink: needs privacy windows but the pipes say it all :cry: these things are pretty shifty :driving:

physically too big for outside my little house, those pipes are nice though
 
Thanks for posting! So utterly tempted by this deal... the thing that puts me off is making sure it's returned in pristine condition at the end of the lease.
 
I've just ordered on - a std car in white....possibly not the best deal out there but I was happy with it and direct with a local VW dealer.....6+23 @£224 with 12k miles.
 
Not sure about the estate TBH.
The last time the Golf R deal came up was about 6 months too early for me otherwise at £212.00 a month (which is what it was last summer) i'd have been all over it like a tramp on chips.
A lot of car for not a lot of money.
 
Spoke to my local dealer(Benfield) yesterday they said that these are pre registered cars which have been bought up by Inchcape. Don't know if this is the case but great deals if you can get it. Having had the hatch and on the look out for an estate I would definitely be interested, brilliant drive.

Not in my experience - or any others I've heard about.

These are factory orders and mine will be new at first registration and about 14 weeks away...............
 
That's what I expected,wasn't convinced with the salesman . Didn't seem to know what I was talking about. Think I'll try another and see what comes up.Thanks
 
Rumour was that there were 200 cars as part of the offer with pre booked build slots for July. Not sure about the 200 cars but I spoke to 2 dealers who seemed to have pre booked allocation of certain specs.

Deal has ended now so that would suggest there was a target number of cars. It's not the first R deal at this rate, my 5dr was the same price (179.99pm) from the October 2014 offer. Hopefully it won't be the last deal they run as I'd like another next year.
 
Mine arrived today - £250/ month all in including deposit and VAT!. It's as quick to 60 as my 2004 911 C2 Cab :o

Only 60 miles in and I think it'll be fine!
