Hi Guys

This is my first post but have been logging on to this forum for a while. Anyway I am looking for a E89 but need to sell my car first. There is an E89 12 plate on ebay that I would jump at if I had sold mine, it has a terrific spec and is immaculate and going very cheap current bid £20,050 but will take £20,950. What do you think? Item number 251156462721

Nice looking example. Isn't it the same old story though that we could all pick up a bargain if only we could sell our own car first (right price, quickly, etc.).

Yeah, but I think guys on here would be shocked if they new how much BMW STEALERS offered on a trade in on this well specked 12 plate

I would do a full check on the car, I'm always a bit sus of expensive cars being sold on e-bay without reserve with an attached sob story, must get rid quick, change of circumstances etc. Anyone can appear genuine if they think they can do a runner with your money.

The usual trick is take pics of the car in well to do areas with nice properties in the background, makes the ad look more respectable.

If its a bargain too good to be true then it usually is. Hope I'm wrong.

Tim.

Westerly Barnstaple is my dealer! Less than 2 miles from my front door!

Have you phoned them to ask if its genuine (I assume the seller asked them to buy it back....if the glass's guide is £25k I wonder why they didn't offer near to that?)

If you click on the Ebay sellers history it looks like he's a car dealer.

Halliwell Jones have several 62 plate delivery mileage Z4's starting at £21,990. There is an 62 plate M-Sport with 10 miles selling for for £22,990.

At those prices , I can't imagine them giving us much of anything for our 12 plate with 3,500 miles on it.

Thats why you have to be absolutely mad buying a new one! Loose so much money as soon as it drives out the garage. Buy one 6 months of 12 months old and you get a significant saving. Paying 30-35K for a 2.0l is mad if you ask me. Might as well just bend over.

Ahhh but some just like that new car feeling knowing no-one has wet the seat and picked their nose and wiped it on the steering wheel
