Cheap cheap oil

Hi Guys,

Just picking all your brains once again!
I have found fully synthetic 10w60 oil that seems way too cheap.

Eurocarparts are selling petronas syntium for 1.80 a litre. Pics for proof attached
Does anyone know anything about this oil?

There’s nothing wrong with the oil, but you may find it becomes out of stock if you try to complete your purchase...or get an email in a few hours saying it was an error.

I’d buy 20 or 30 litres myself and hope for the best.

Yeah you were right. Only 2 left in stock. Which isnt much use. Apparently more in next week though so as soon as monday hits ill be buying 24 litres i think
 
I've reserved 3 litres in Aston Birmingham(family) and 3 in Leeds

Thanks OP

Hopefully, they get stock in and the price stays the same as I'll get quite a lot for future cheap oil changes
 
Are people happy to be using this instead of Castrol edge? I've heard edge has more sheer strength which is beneficial for the high revving s54?

Bmw don’t even use Castrol anymore, they use shell oil. Personally I have normally used Fuchs Titan race in my m cars. But I do so few miles in my zed normally 2000 miles between changes I am happy to take the gamble on petronas.

Thus far in it's life, mine has only ever drunk Castrol's finest Oil, to my knowledge.

It get's Tesco's finest petrol too though. :wink:

BMW use Shell now - Ross had a barrel of 10W60 delivered last time I was at RBM.

I don't know what mine has in it, but it will be getting Castrol as I got 4 litres for free from a former M3 owner on another forum - even if I did have to go 50 miles to get it!

And I've ever put Tesco Momentum in it.
