Cheap Castrol Edge

Whilst shopping in our local Home Bargains store i spotted 1ltr bottles of Castrol Edge 5w-40 for £6.99,not sure what grade the Z4 uses.

The spec label on the back said it was suitable for Bmw's using Longlife 04.

i kept a litre in my boot, and it leaked everywhere...

need to get sum more mine does like it!! but i suppose to keep the engine clean and mean you have to give it it's head (SORRY HORSE TEARMS) now an then like every day!!

Keep it in the bmw pouch and Velcro to the boot, that will keep it upright.

Only time I've kept one is for when I went to Germany and broke down. Didn't event think about taking one when I went to Denmark...will do so now, and save having to spend £20 a litre!!!
