Cheap castrol Edge 0w-30 oil @ Tesco service stations

Hi all,

Quick heads up, popped into Tesco to fill up with fuel and noticed in the garage shop you can buy 1l bottles for £3.50 each, which is pretty good considering a 4l bottle costs aroun £40. Hopefully this isnt just a local deal.
 
wow, that sounds to be a mis pricing! going to find out later when i get some fuel. bargain if its right though! :D

Dashed to Tesco, needed to fillup anyway, got the lady to scan the code, came up at £14 :x
 
Keep your eye on Tesco though as I'm sure I only paid £9.99 a couple of weeks ago for a 1ltr bottle of EDGE 0-30W.

It seems that the Tesco loophole closed pretty quickly, however I noticed that my B&Q were selling their Castrol 1l containers at 2 for £20, at least that's the case for my local B&Q near Poole.

£10/litre is still pretty good value.
