I believe in the Nordic countries they call it 'Cabin Fever', which is why I always visit in the Summer when they go mad, women take their clothes off, swim in lakes at midnight, party all day and drive custom cars and bikes they worked on all Winter...

Without putting too fine a point on it, it seems very different now from when i was here 2+years and 25k ago when these things were rare as rocking horse poo. Is this combined due to the recession and ultimate age / depreciation of these cars? I see folk like mr sixspeed who bought a £48k coupe purely for the track seem to be long gone and now we're quibbling about american/european diferences and other flaming from a totally different mentality..

I still love my car, and I still love z4-forum, one of the many reasons I donated to the site at xmas. *Happy thoughts* I'm off to do some donuts in some private snow to cheer up ! :driving:

Tho I've not yet been here long enough to notice any changes...

Tbh, I didn't "leave" because the forum changed so much, more just because I was out too much enjoying the car! I used to use the forum to bounce ideas off people for mods etc, and things kinda slowed down on that front once I got it to the point I was happy. Also, work took up a lot more time when I wasn't enjoying the car, so I just kinda fell out of the forum scene for a bit. But I figured I'd pop back, and I'm going to *try* and stay around a bit more! :)

So hello again! :)
 
hah.. i had a feeling once id posted that you'd waltz back in here :)

was thinking the other day, ever considered some flashing blue lights for the roof of your shed ? :poke:
 
I have said it before this is a nice friendly place. If there have been mean people picking on others I had not noticed and nobody has been anything other than kind to me. I am on many other forums both cars and other things and believe me if you think this forum is contentious, you have not been in the places I have been. Some are real nasty. :)
