Changing brake pads and disks?

Hopefully I will get enough time to change all 4 disks and pads this week. Do I need any special tools for this job. Do I need a rewind tool or anything for the rears? Anything else I should be aware of before I start?

nope, all pistons push back... open the bleed nipples and catch the oil fluid...undo the reservoir cap too..

you may need to undo the rear hand brake shoes... there is a rewind star at the rear end side of the disk... you'll have to try and spin the disk until you see it, and get a screwdriver in to wind it back....

Rewind tool is very useful IME, the rear pads wear so slowly that the pistons have been out for a long time they often dont like to go back.

Apart from that a 7mm alen key on a ratchet makes life a lot easier than using a manual one.
