Changing 105 for 107 wheels

Hi folks, I'm interested in getting a set of the 18 inch 107 wheels, I have a set of 105s, all of which are in very good condition. Any issues about moving to18 inch wheels? Should I move away from run flats in the process? And finally if I were to get a space saver spare, what size would I need?

No issues at all. Straight swap.

With regards to rubber defo move away from the run flats. You'll need to put on premium or some mid range tyres tho - they're keeping you on the road. You don't want to be skimping on them!

What car have you got? Many Zeds will be able to run a 16" space saver. But the 3.0si can't.
 
107's are 17 inch not 18... Also referred to as 'daisies' on here due to the design. Do you mean 108's?

Mine is the 3.0si, what condition are yours in? Mine all pristine, one had some minor curbing when I bought her the other week, it's currently being refurbished.

Just keep a a can of foam/goo and an electric tyre inflator in the boot, no need for a spacer saver. If its good enough for Porsche........!
BMW do an inflation kit (goo and inflator) which can be found on ebay etc if you want an OEM solution, but again if its good enough for BMW to offer. A space saver is going to add weight and fill the boot as well as needing to secure it.

no problem changing to an 18" rim, it's standard fitment on most Z4s
and no need for a space saver unless you hate boot space. I keep this- https://www.amazon.co.uk/AirMan-ResQ-TireRepair-71-051-011-Repair/dp/B00BP5E7KI/ref=pd_vtph_263_tr_t_2?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=03R6D0NG5WDHMT71VRE8 next to the battery under the boot by the toolkit, all fits in nice and neat, compressor included. There's a few alternative brands though, slime is cheaper
