Centre switch trim removal

I have searched but cannot find any reference for the removal of the centre switch trim (the one with the roof buttons)

I have taken the ash tray out and removed the screw underneath, but it still wont budge.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

I am trying to assess whether I have the seat heating loom in place before I look into 3rd party seat heating options.

Just needs some gently persuasion, pull it firmly from the front but be careful and tape a cloth over the surrounding trim to prevent scratches. Replacement is the reverse. Not sure about the wiring loom.

Thanks Alan, just had another go, I got the front part to come up, but the bit by the buttons seemed stuck firm.

I was too nervous to pull any harder :oops:

It is getting dark and cold, so I'll have to leave it for another day now.

I'm hoping the wiring loom for the heated seats is there, if so, I'll buy the heating pads and a new switch panel from Joe at Sopers and find an auto upholsterer to fit them to the seats.

At least this is my plan......... :)

Seemed to come out easier than mine, but I know how it looks when it comes out now, so I'll give it another go.
 
mine was pretty hard to remove... only advise is you need to flex the plastic a little to remove it.....

And then the hardest part was getting the bugger back in :oops: :lol:
