Centre Storage Compartment Door: Cradle

Hi, there is a nokia 6310 cradle placed on the inside of my door for the centre storage compartment... it looks very impressive however it is of no use to me...

If anyone wants it, PM me and i will send it to you as it is of no use to me...

Would it be possible to replace this with an iphone cradle or is there such thing... thanks in advance for your help

There is an wider cradle "holder/eject box" available, this will accept the iPhone Snap-in cradles. You can modify the existing plastic "holder" as some on here have done with a dremmel etc.

Price for both the OEM cradle holder and snap-in is around £70 each.

Ok cool, so would i be right in saying that all the existing wires / loom etc are obviously installed so and all i need to do it get a new cradle and plastic holder?

What is the benefit of having the cradle as opposed to just connecting through bluetooth...

You will have charging, (useful with the iPhone battery life) and aerial connection for improved signal quality.

The aerial and 18-way connector is located behind the drivers seat (RHD), storage bin/sub-woofer.

You'll need to remove the eject box door and the surrounding trim to install the cable correctly.
