Anyone found a decent use for the fold out part?
at the moment it has a very narrow curved cubby, flanked by a pen holder on the right and a lidded compartment on the left - all too small to hold anything other than a pen !
Is there anything you can retrofit to make it more useable eg a lidded compartment ?
 
Yeah it would be useful if that door could be put to some use, even if it was a pocket of some sort.

And i tend to keep my pens in the door pocket - which i find handier then the center compartment which is awkward to get to when driving.

Even if you have a phone adapter there is no point in it, as its much more convenient to use the BT only, and keep the phone in your pocket.
 
in my old roadster which didn;t have sat nav i used to keep that and the ipod in there, was ideal as it lockes with the CL, whereas the glove box doesn;t....
 
Yeah the inside holds the sat nav drive - but annoyingly they placed that in the middle - so i have a space below (presumably filled if you have a CD changer) and above - with a light... but the lid is pretty big and useless.
 
ahh

yes in the main bit I have the nav and changer so just the cubby at the top - which is fine for my wallet and camera!
