Centre Bonnet Catch

There appears to be a catch/ guide missing from the bonnet (see photograph) of my recently purchased 2007 Z4MC. Can anyone confirm that there is a part missing from here or not? The bonnet does close OK with the two side catches.

I'll have a look at mine later, but it looks about right. Here's the section from RealOEM - there is just the 1 catch (15) for the bonnet / hood

EDIT: I think it locks on RealOEM parts 12, 11 and 9 on each side instead - although I checked a photo of one for sale and it does still appear to have the hole for the central catch bracket above the radiator - where AndyS's would locate. Odd.
 
Mine is an 04 plate and neither an M or a Coupe so might be different but my bonnet catch looks like this:

All you have is the safety latch - which prevents the bonnet lifting in the event of the main security catch failing. The security latch needs refitting (or replacing) as a matter of urgency. I wouldn't drive the car like this as the bonnet will lift at speed - only to the extent the safety latch holds it in place but there will be some movement.

I'm sure the ///M locks on each side so there would be no central catch.
 
Correct - us "M" boys have side catches only. Different way of closing the bonnet as you press the sides down rather then the middle. Nice touch I think though.
 
Actually I think it maybe a facelift thing as mine lock on both sides as a few time I have dropped the bonnet and only one side closes properly.

Nooooooooooooooooooooo - I had convinced myself that it was an M only thing and that is why I could justify the price differential :D
