Hi
Had a problem with alarm always going off, so took the fuse out of fuse box for central locking and alarm, locked the door and went to unlock it with my key and the keys just turns round in lock, how can i get the door open ? keys keeps turning and central locking no fuse. any ideas please would be a great help
Thanks a lot

Hi Markben, I’m sorry to hear about your problem. It must be a nightmare.
If your really lucky, your Zed might have been programmed for comfort unlocking, whereby you can open the roof by pressing and holding down the un-lock button on your remote. The roof should then open and you can get to the lock button inside the car.
Hopefully this isn’t on the same fuse as the central locking. Good luck........

Hi
It’s 2003 model, looks like only way in is to break the window and replace the fuse so central door locking works, unless anyone else has an idea ?????

Hi, did you try to lower the roof as the previous poster suggested?

If you smash your way in it's also possible that the dead locks might be engaged, which will make getting to the fuse fun!

I've previously read about the "90 degree turn" needed to unlock BM's with a dead battery or dead-locks engaged, I assume this link shows the process with the handle pulled, but I'm not sure if it will work on our cars?

Good luck, lets us know how you get on

Hi yes tried that , think it will have to be smash window

Sorry to hear the roof option didn’t work. You did press and hold the unlock button on the remote? I think it can take quite a few seconds before anything happens.

As Ewazix has said, I’d really avoid smashing your window if you can as it might engage the deadlocks.

Have you tried a locksmith? I think there are some who specialise in opening locked cars.

Good luck and please keep us all update don how you get on.

Thanks for all your ideas, in the end smashed window, dead locks was on so changed fuse in glove box and central door opens. Got a new window for £30 so happy all round, and now the alarm is working for sum reason

Glad you got it sorted mate  I bet it was scary smashing the window. You’ll have to give your Zed a bit of TLC now to make up to it now :D
