Central Armrest Storage Closing Mechanism

One of those wee FFS problems...

On the E89 the central armrest storage lid is locked in place by a plastic tab that locates into a sprung slot.

The plastic tab has snapped and consequently the lid no longer closes. I don't have/can't find the piece that's broken off.

If anyone has a clever fix for this I'd be very appreciative. ATM I'm considering assorted magnets and other Heath Robinson approaches...

Well, a little issue with a simple solution.
At least, a simple zip tie might be your friend.
