I'm trying to access the CD changer connectors in the boot of an M roadster to fit a bluetooth audio interface. I'm unable to get the carpet out of the way enough to access the CD unit as the emergency storage compartment release cord is preventing me from lifting it any higher, I can feel the wires and connectors but I can't ascertain what wires go to what, even if I could I wouldn't be able to pull them out as the opening in the bulkhead is to tight. I've removed the battery as it's an M and still no joy.
I've seen numerous video's and post on how to access the wires for cars without an OEM CD changer but can't find anything for one with.
Anyone had a similar problem?
