Also heard lion dung is a pretty good deterrent - difficult to source though.

We have a GSD..

But he would just kill the cat...... Not an outcome i would want.

My neighbours cat has also scratched my car, an i required a machine polish to remove.

I now have a couple of weaves sticking up on my roof, which i presume the cat has caused... So yes they do harm.

Also a car cover isnt practical as the car need to be clean to use them... So everytime i use the car i need to spend an hour to wash it then cover it, isnt practical, esp in our wet climate.

Citronella oil worked for me for a while... Then faded.

Will get an ultrasonic box and put it on my dash see of that helps.

I tried an electronic box at either end of the car to try and deter them...

Nope.....They werent bothered in the slightest by them..

Stupid question... Is it waterproof?!

Can i leave it on my roof all the time come rain or shine?

Yea.....

They are waterproof.. And sitting it directly on top of the roof may work.

The noise that they give off is supposed to be inaudible,but people under 25 can seem to hear them operate.. :?

Sorry i meant the scatmat!

The ultra sonic things i can hear, my mum has one and i can always hear it, but my parents cant... And i am a good few years older then 25 :)
