Carver speaker grille for rear subs

Can anyone adive is the speaker grille for the 10 speaker carver setup that goes over the rear subs (item 15 in below link) uses the same fixings as the standard rear stowage boxes (item 1 on same diagram). In other words can I replace my rear stowage with the sub speaker covers?

The problem with the oem covers is that they are quite restrictive. Most people dremmel the cubby ones and add speaker cloth. Much larger open area.

I did notice after I ordered them and then saw one on ebay, it looks like the speaker aperture may be around 5.25" so I am going to have to do a bit of thinking as my speakers are 6.5". I will know more when I get them I guess, they have to come from Germany I am not sure how feasible (if not tedious) it would be to drill extra holes in the plastic from behind without touching the fabric by setting the depth stop set on my pillar drill. I was originally going to adapt the standard ones, but wasn't confident I would get it looking good enough.
