Carver Audio but no DSP option

I was reading up on the Carver audio system and noticed people talking about the DSP. We don't have a DSP option available on the screen although we do have an amp in the boot! This is for a 2003 Z4, so I was wondering if it needs to be enabled or perhaps it's a non DSP Carver system. Just trying to understand how the carver system is put together and works.

Are you sure it's a Carver amp? Was that available before the facelift? Does your radio manual give any clues?
