Carver and iPod - a definitive answer?

I need a decent iPod solution for my Z4 with Carver.

I don't just want the BMW aux in as I want it to charge and I want to be able to change the track with cd controls. Latter is slightly less important.

But i just cant seem to get a definitive answer anywhere.

Please someone, help, so I can order it today :thumbsup:
 
I have the AUX-IN coupled with something similar to this which charges as well :D

no steering wheel control though - that's what passengers are for :?
 
Got any links to the aux in option, I hate not being able to search for three letters or less - or is there a way to do that?!

Cheers - not sure I fancy taking off those panels, I usually end up getting mad and c*cking it up! Other thing is I have a multichanger, so is that using the plug that would be used for the aux?

The only tricky one is the air vent above the radio, and some have managed to do it without removing that...

The one underneath the air con controls pops out with a credit card :)

I have the multi-changer and an Aux input, they just plug in together at the back of the head unit.
The whole job took me 30 mins - 20 of those to get the bloody air vents out!

On account of being drunk from the pub and also on account of being given a Palm Treo Pro from work which has 3.5mm jack on it and a 32gb card in it.

So aux in makes better sense.

Please, can nobody tell me it wont work!?
