It's the second of a three part series where the guys are trying to trade up to a better car. They did a bit of work on it and we find out next week how much they sell it for. Worth a watch, IMO.

[ref]TheDan[/ref], good find. Not the best advert and looks like it needs a fair bit more TLC on the bodywork. "Rare colour" - that's a stretch! I am curious as to why there are several grandfather clocks in the garage behind it (last photo)

Haha, didn't notice those! Maybe Alex collects grandfather clocks as well as cars!

I wasn't too keen on some of their final few temporary aesthetic touch ups... seemed a little bodgy just to bump the price up a bit. I think it would have easily fetched £7500 with a new front bumper or at least a re-spray.

Auto trader says deposit taken, be interesting how much it went for.
A good advert for how solid these cars are and a good investment. 15 year old car only lost a few ponies on the dyno too!

I feel sorry for the guy who sold it for 5k. Definitely missed a trick there!

Well I viewed this car shortly before buying my dream spec Coupe.
It drove very well but dents to every arch as well as plenty other imperfections all over.
It almost needed an entire paint job.
Only one non original key too.
When you start adding it up...

Went to a car place yesterday and was looking at Lotus's. Mentioned what I had and guy said a coupe was on his list to own. Said it must be worth 16k :? . I said that was wishful thinking. But he seemed to think they were on the up. Would have snapped his hand off if he offered me £16k :D
