Cars from the year of your birth

Absolutely thanks guys, some cracking ideas. Some may be a little out of the price range but others are almost perfect! TBH I think it would need to be max £10k or there abouts within reason..

Funnily enough I was already thinking about the Audi Quattro. Always did like the 944 Turbo, although prefer the 968 IMO.

Ive already previously owned a BMW E24 635Csi and Mk2 Volkswagen Scirocco which were both available in 84.

There's something so nice about a countach without the spoiler and whilst this isn't as pure as the original cars, I think I could just about live with it!

1974 also saw the official launch of this beauty which stayed in production for a whoppin 16 years!! (probably the longest for lambo)

And the car name that has been produced the most has also been launched for the first time in 1974 (designed by giugiaro)


Most interesting car launched in '84 is of course the already mentioned fantastic 288gto :), the daddy of the f40
 
From 1973 either a Mgb gt v8 or a 73 American musclecar(mustang or chevy ss),or 73 Ferrari....
Fir 1984 either an Opel manta gte or Porsche 911.
