Carly updates

Anyone else having problems with the updates?

Been using it for a couple of years on an android device without issue but when I went to use it recently it wouldn’t apply the update. Carly say it is down to Google. Surely any updates they launch should be compatible? Surprisingly they seem to be washing their hands of it and not being very helpful.

Asked about switching to an IOS version and they said I would have to buy it again. Said if I wanted a refund for the app I paid for and now can’t use, I need to speak to Google.

A bit frustrated here. Bought it a few years ago so don’t need to pay the annual licence so am keen to keep that aspect of it.

Have asked if I uninstalled the version I have, and download it again, would it download the new version and install properly. Waiting for a reply.

been using on ios for years now without issue.
Now I have an android phone i was going to bite the bullet and get the android version.
Have heard other stories about issues with carly on android so for now i'll stick with ios. bought a cheap ipad air to facilitate using the wifi dongle.
Not ideal as it required an extra investment on my part but I'd prefer that over patchy end-user experience with android tbh.

Just checked and it seems the old tablet I use for Carly doesn’t have the correct Android version to run the app. PITA.

Will check and see if I can manually update it cos the auto update is maxed at the current version.

my version is 36.0.7, is this the latest?

Question for the group ...??
I cannot seam to get any live parameters to display with my Carly app, am I missing something or are these unveil for this car and that app?

I've never tried the live parameters :-?
If I remember I'll try later on and see if it works on mine.

Running version 29.31 on my android phone - it should be the latest version so I'm not sure where Migizi is seeing 36.0.7 ? :?
I am seeing that version number at the very bottom of the settings screen
Edit - just checked Google Play Store and the latest version is 29.31 as at 09/04/2019.

Ah, iOS. That explains the differing version numbers.

Used Carly on a 2010 320d on Monday night.

When it opened there seemed to be an update that had been installed for the Bluetooth dongle I use.

This then failed to connect a few times before rebooting the phone, pairing the dongle and waiting for it to connect.
