Carly App Comfort Close

Hello,

I have a Z4 (E89). I have purchased the Carly app Pro version. It allows me to code the 'Comfort Close Using Remote' to 'Active'. Despite this the roof refuses to close via the remote. What am I doing wrong? Do I have to activate something else first? Anyone done this successfully?

From other info on here apparently it cannot be coded and can only be done if your car has comfort access or a Smarttop module fitted.
 
You will probably find you can close the roof with the key in the door now, but not with the remote. All the Carly settings suggest it can be done, but other posts say BMW disabled the feature for safety reasons. It is disappointing but Carly gives you lots of other non roof options. Viv
