Care of Frozen paint

Just purchased a M40i in Frozen Grey. I am aware that you can’t use the regular paint protection products such as polish and waxes.

Is there any products or indeed need for something like a ceramic coat to protect from bird cr@p tree sap and such contaminants that I can use on Frozen paint?

Gyeon make something for it.

You could also try wet coat for protection.

Cheers, will do some research on that

I think the car manual should reference specific paint care no? I knew someone with a frozen E92 M3 and I think it was in the pack.

The official BMW line is don't need to do anything other than wash it and dry it.

Dealership said that's all they did when the accepted it as a trade in but due to the beading I suspect it may have had some ceramic coat from new. The dirt just rinses off and it only takes a few minutes to wash and dry, which is just as well as it shows up the slightest dirt or water marks.

Have now got some ceramic wash from Gtechiq especially for this type of paintwork which doesn't leave any residue but we will see. Also bought some Citrus cleaner for the likes of bird cr*p again for this type of paint and recommended by Gtechniq who were very helpful.IMG_ (1).jpeg
