Hi
I'm hoping there might be an expert on here.
My other car is a Volvo XC90.
I'm having trouble with a couple of speakers.
The set up is ,
The rear passenger door has a mid range speaker with a tweeter built into it. And a smaller version in the tailgate pillars. They are controlled via a amp.
The main speaker in both the rear door and tailgate pillar are not working, but the built in tweeters are. Both speakers are on the same side of the car and if I set the stereo settings to rear left, they work together.
I'm hoping the main speakers are faulty as the tweeter parts still work. But, could the amp be faulty instead ?
Would the tweeters still work if the amp wasn't powering the main range speakers ?
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
Rob
