Car shampoo?

I had a look at the chemical guys website and the choice of car shampoo blew my mind, too much choice.

Bilt Hamer Auto Wash

I was planning to give this a go when my current AG stuff runs out. Good to hear a recommendation.

Its great stuff mate as are most of there products, last ages too as you only need a tiny amount of it :)

I've got their snow foam which always gets a car wash off to a good start!

Another vote from me. Don't expect lots of suds on the car but nice and slick and cleans really well.

I also rate the BH snow foam but I use it through a garden sprayer - works just as well but you don't get the drama of the shaving foam effect plus it lasts a longer this way. Also don't get glared at by the OH wondering when all that foam will disappear

I was always told that as long as it was just shampoo without wax it's would be fine. AG smells nice and the colour is amazing though.

I used to use AutoGlym and moved over to Meguiar's, and recently moved over the Bilt Hamber, best car wash shampoo I've had. It's highly concentrated you only need a tablespoon's worth in a bucket.

Another vote for Megs Gold Class available at Halfords at the end of the day what makes cleaning a car a lot easier is claying followed by polish and wax the mitt just glides across the surface.

To be honest I have not noticed a huge difference in most shampoos I have used over the years best value I ever used was Tripplewax when it was available in Woolworths for a pound a bottle.

Is that how you measure it out, with a tablespoon?
I normally use a couple of squirts for AG.

you can get a 300ml one which is about £12. Maybe go for that one to try first of all, you can buy direct from BH as well.

Bilt hamer for me too . Great clean form just 5 ml to 5 litre bucket . Use warm water and it suds just fine .

I never get many subs tbh but it works very well and slides lovely on the wash mitt :?

Ill try some warm water

I'm too right to use warm water, plus the extra hassle walking through the house with a bucket!
Although have toyed with the idea of a water softener!
