When transferring money from a credit card to your bank account is quite expensive though.
Im sure the interest/charge rates are higher than a normal cc purchase.

Depends on the card, I once transferred £15k from a cap one 0% card, for a car purchase, it was in my bank within 2 hours, and there were no charges.

No, it was a credit card, not a prepaid one, I then had 2 yrs interest free to pay it back, worked out much cheaper than the dealer finance.
