Car door puddle/led light (not at the handle)

Bought a pair of these of eBay, never bothered checking there was a hole for them assumed there was as it's listed as compatible

i'm assuming they're not... but in case i've missed something anyone else got these/fitted them and if so where? as i can't see something there already to remove other thna what looks like a couple of bits of round looking trim that are the wrong shape

There is no retrofit option for puddle lights, nor loom/connectors

That said I did fit them by mounting LED's into one of the black plastic plugs on the underneath of the door. Those were connected to a new loom I created (as part of a project to fit LED's into both the inner and external door handles). Extra pins added to the door connector and wired into the floor light circuit.

Works perfectly for well since fitted over 5 years ago, auto dim when the door is closed or ignition switched on. Way too much work for most people to contemplate, but kept me amused for a day

forgot to hoof the link in but yeah that was what i was thinking, a waste of £20 then, knew i should've checked the door first but well it was pissing it down lol
