Car broken into... AGAIN

About eight months later and someone's been in it again 😭 what's most concerning is that I have no idea how they are getting in. No signs of forced entry, the door handle is a little wobbly but not massively so.

Unfortunately my key sometimes refuses to lock remotely, meaning I have to manually lock it, which disengages the alarm. Unlocks every time without fail, so that's still a mystery.

Anyway the reason I'm posting here is that they tried to force the centre console storage open and have jammed it shut doing so. Any ideas how to get it unstuck?
 
Sorry to hear about this again. :( :thumbsdown: Person or persons unknown have found out your car is an easy target, can you put a security camera looking at the car or an aftermarket alarm?
 
Sorry to hear that.

I locked my keys in the car long story...

Got a local lock smith, guy was in it in literally 30 seconds, had a key too that moulded to the right shape... anyone with a bit of knowledge and no alarm flashing can get in relatively easily.

My key had the same issue, though not as bad as it would work after trying the button a few times. I expect it is the button in the key which is getting tired. You can get the key refurbed or change it yourself if you are very handy with soldering :thumbsup:
 
I had a company in Devon called ‘Your Key’ repaired my transit key as the buttons stopped working. Might be a similar company near you.

Thanks guys, I first thought it was a dodgy button but sometimes it just refuses to lick no matter how many times I try it... and other times is locks straight away. Would have thought if it's a dodgy connection it would work eventually?
 
Our old mini would unlock using the fob every time but wouldn't lock with the fob. It turned out to be the door actuator.
 
Do you park on your driveway? If so get a nest hello doorbell and possibly some dahua or hiikvision IP/network cameras
