Can't use the ///M Mobility kit pump as a normal pump?!

Is this true? Does the pump in the kit only work properly with the foam bottle attached? It is the older style kit, 71 10 22 82 822.

Apologies for the noddy question - I don't want to screw mine in to find out! :?

Works fine, used mine to pump up my flat wheel without the sealant.
Did my bikes tyres as well

If it was easier to access and pack away I'd use it more often & not only for emergencies.

Ahaaa!!!! Found the problem.

The hose was actually stuck together inside itself where it kinks, so the pump was hitting 5/6 bar almost immediately. Gave it a squeeze in a vice and now it's perfect. Just need some new gunk now - mine is from about 450 BC.
