Can't always believe the dealer

Was at the dealer today buying filters etc. Asked about retrofitting cruise control. To be fair this guy was so helpful. But he said the retrofit kit was £250. "Not really diy tho" he said. Also 2 hours labour charge and the need to code it when finished.
Now I know from this forum that it doesn't need coding and i think £250 is a bit steep.

About £120 for the stalk and loom from Soper. He may have been including the cost of the lower cowl too. It is a two hour job but not worth paying dealer rates. Coding will only update the vehicle order, it works without this being done.
