I spotted this earlier, Nobel M12 3R with a few choice mods. Hard to think of anything faster than this beauty, for £35,000.

500 bhp. :o
0-60 in 2.6 and then I expect it gets some traction and realy starts moving. :D
Sublime handling,
Weight around a ton. 8)

A little challange for you all.

For £15k less you can have an FQ-400.

0-60 - 3.7 seconds (I think).

Quick and will corner faster than the Noble

No it won't, way to much turbo lag.

We have a standard M12 3R pushing out a mear 340 bhp & an FQ360, (The one without the turbo lag) that come on most of our local weekend run's and the Standard Nobel is quicker, on a dry road. The FQ360 is about the same as the MR on smooth tarmac. The standard Nobel is quicker than both, trust me.

(Nice Try, Must try Harder) :P

Erm......Nismo GTR35R?

In R mode, natch.

Taking into account your pricing caveat, It'll have to be a Nissan GTR35R as opposed to the Nismo, they cost more than £35K! :driving:

FQ 360 would nail a Z4M 0-60.... :P The FQ is under 4.5 secs. The Z4M is 4.8 ish?

Touché Mr :poke:

Not so sure turbo lag would matter if you're in the right gear and right rev range.... ;)

May be, true on paper, but no one does 0-60 in the real world. We play several times a year and our particular cars are very evenly matched in a straight line.

On the Turbo lag thing. I once got passed a FQ400, on a run out of a tight corner. Embarising for him, as I was driving an Almera 1.8 that day. Was very funny and he was soon back past me and disapeared, but a classic real world example of turbo lag. :D

Think you have spotted another Giant killer there Geezah.

I love the thought of a Nobel, but have only seen them on track days for the first hour or so, and then something breaks (or maybe they're just gazing at the engine bay for another reason) and they limp home :poke:

Maybe people are remapping them, but not upgrading any other parts to take account of that extra power?

Although when I have managed to be on the track at the same time, you'll see it in your mirror on the corner behind you, and as you're half way to the next corner you assume there's plenty of time for you to go through the corner and then let them past. But by then it's already gone past you anyway and is half way up the next straight. :P

Had the pleasure of driving my pals Litchfield stage 2 converted model, which was showing 623BHP on the dyno. AWD etc, sticks like sh1t to a blanket, do whatever you want with it. And all this in a 4 seater with a boot!..awesome.

Where can you get a better £/BHP value ration than that in a proper useful day to day motor? It's only got a 3.8, V6!

Feenomeenal in every respect......except some quirky body angles perhaps, but that's the Japanese for you. 8)

The Evo would be off the road being serviced every 10 minutes though. Fragile bloody things but quite incredible what they've done to get that sort of hp out of the engine.

How about this - 680bhp 7.2 litre.
