Can you calculate?

If your car is sat in Aberdeen, then surely it's going to take some epidemic panic buying to drain Alex Salmond's Oily Paradise dry.

Range in your car all depends on traffic. If you're going to drive in the middle of the night with no traffic you'll get a lot further!

+1  Sadly he's even more of a snake than most politicians though which is why he'll get his way - by getting pissed people and easily-led 16 year olds to vote on a Saturday.

I have a few eco runs ever now and again in the Z4 coupe, I have managed around 400miles on a tank, get better mpg without use of the cruise control, as you can be more adpative with the foot than the computer just maintining the engine speed.

Let us know how you get on!!

My record sustained economy was an indicated 40.8mpg over a 170 mile motorway journey with cruise control set at 70mph. Let's assume the computer over estimated by 10% to give an approximately 'real' figure of 36.5mpg. This is just over 8miles per litre so a theoretical range of 440miles. Go for it!
