Can the exhaust hit / knock anything?

Yes, rear mounts have been known to crack on the rear box and knock over bumps (don’t ask me how I know this)
Can be welded back in situ normally

As above the front most hanger on the rear box is prone to snapping due to a failed weld,, it then snaps away from the box and rattles against it. I have repaired lots of them. Facelift are actually more prone to it.

It's not hitting at the back. It's the front. Suspension elements are now solid and new too. Almost directly behind the bulkhead in front of me. And it's only speed bumps that require the car to lift at an angle. Shitty roads and pot holes don't cause it to happen.

The header to exhaust flange at the front end hangs a bit low and is prone to corrosion and if left will fail ie fall apart. You can easily check it and if it is failing get it repaired asap otherwise an expensive job is involved.

Lol what a mong. It's the giant heat shield. Some idiot (me) didn't put the washers back in after I had to remove it to change the rocker gasket. It's. Been pinging on the bracket and resonating through the car. Removed the entire thing and no more noise. Importance of washers people. Amazing how sound distorts in an engine bay.
