Can someone tell me what these wheels are and how much..

Hey all,

I was wondering if someone could tell me what the wheels are on this car and how much they are worth with all 4 near new Michelin pilot sport tyres.

Wheels are are almost new condition size 18"

If someone could help that would be great.

There ellipsoids.... Not sure of OEM ref number..

Mr Wilks is your man for pricing... He knows all the BMW wheels inside out.

These are the Ellipsoid design alloys. Id say looking at ebay prices these are worth around £300, maybe same again for the tyres depending on age and condition.

So £600ish

Ah okay - so would I be reasonable to happily swap them for some 108's?

Should be able to do a straight swap. There is normally somebody who want the opposite around. Just comes down to the condition of the 108's

The Elipsoid style 202s shown are a great Z wheel although little demand for them on any other BMW model
They're not worth as much as the style 108 if both sets same condition though 8)
If you are\ happy to swap for the split rim BBS wheels then go for it but make sure they have been either well looked after or properly split & refurbed very recently .
Many dealers do a makeover job on them to sell a car but within months you are left with a very expensive sort to get them right

These are 107s very similar to the 202s (they had raised stud holes) Both look fab- not that I'm biased!

If the car i get comes with those 5 spokes I would swap, If that car is yours it looks beutiful, I wish the coupes came in that colour.
And how can you tell if split rims are in good condition or if they have just been bodged?
