Wanted to fit it for a bit then planning on retrimming and going full multi function. What part numbers will I need and can I fit it for the time being without?

I've got the wheel, buttons are all wired up, I plugged it into the plug socket bit but they don't work, is there some other wire needed so the wheel works with the stereo? if so what part number is this? :D Car is a 2006 coupe so i'm guessing it should already have it reading the how to guide?

just think theyd both be same colour

That's just a tail and are pennies from you local stealer. Not sure if that's all you need though.

think you only need 2 of them if its "cars before 09/03 only)"

not sure but think its just so the back lights work.

Looks like I have everything, it says something about needing to be programmed? Either the wheel don't work or I need to get it set up haha. Anyone recommend anyone?

Ay the fitting guide and the write up only says for pre 2003 cars. My head hurts haha. If it needs stuff pulling apart can anyone recommend somewhere in Brum to do the wiring bit?

Check your green plug under the steering column has the 2 wires (as per the forum link), if you have the wires there, something is wrong

The MFSW retro kit you can buy direct from BMmininparts for around £180, easy to fit once you understand how

JE didn't you have to buy a slip ring too? maybe that's what OP needs? :headbang:

I had the right slip ring I think, it has 3 sockets on it, couldn't work out what went into the far left one though. Will remove the wheel at the weekend and have a look
