Can Autosol Metal Polish remove rust on chrome tailpipe?

After washing my Zed yesterday, I noticed a little rust on the chrome tailpipe caused by a stone stuck between two pipes.

Did anyone successfully remove rust on chrome tailpipe completely with Autosol Metal Polish? If not, what else can I do to stop the rust getting worse?

Yes, it will remove the rust staining. However, you might find that as you rub it on you can feel the little specks where it has started. This is where it will return over time. However, keep it clean with Autosol and you should hold it off indefinately

T- cut , followed by a 'dust' of WD40 will do it.
